Remembrance Day is not about a day off work, it is a day that we should all take pause and reflect on how our lives have changed course and benefited from the sacrifices of men and women serving our country. These brave souls stepped up and bore unimaginable hardships to preserve our freedom. I think we sometimes operate in isolation of current conflicts, not knowing anyone involved and being physically far removed from the conflict’s location. But that wasn’t and isn’t the case for everyone. Here at Zarowny Motors many employees have had family members serve in previous wars. Some of the soldiers came home to St. Paul and some were not so fortunate. Our sixty employees had over twenty-eight family members serve our country. That makes Remembrance Day real for them. Let’s all remember and give thanks.
